Messrs Abraham and Williams stock report : — AYe had a full muster of sheep anil cattle at Palmerston yesterday. Some young shorthorn bulls sold pretty freely at from 4grs. to s^grs- We quote: — Cattle -Fat bullocks, £6 2s ; light beef, £5 12s ; Byr steers in forward condition, i' 416t0 £4 18s ; others ±'4 4s to £4 7s 6d ; 18-months steers, £2 7s 6d ; yearlings do. £2 ; weaners, 19s 6d to 27s 6d. Sheep - Shorn lambs, 2s 9d ; lambs in their wool, 2s 6d to 3s 6d ; 2-tooth ewes, 7s to 7s 6d ; others, 5s ; fat ewes, 5s 6d to 6s sd ; ewes and lambs all counted, 2s 2d.
