The New Bishop.
♦ The Rev. Dr Wallis, Bishop-designate, of Wellington, and Mrs Wallis, arrived early this morning by the Tarawera from Sydney. Archdeacon Fancourt ■went on board when the steamer arrived, but the Bishop is not to land until this morning. He is to be received bj r the members of theDiocesan Standing Committee and the clergy, and will be driven to Government Kouse, where he will be the guest of His Excellency the Governor. — Times.
