— o ■■ ■■ (Per Press Association). Wellington, January 3. At the annual meeting of the Gear Meat Company to-night, a dividend at the rate of 10 per cent per annum was declared. The Chairman, in his address, said the year through which they bad just passed had been a very trying one and had presented features in the trade little thought of a few years ago. In fact, from the frozen meat business being one of constant change and fierce competition from other parts of the world bad considerably affected New Zealand growers.
