Stock Market.
Messrs Lowes and lorns report at their monthly 6tock sale at Eketahuna on Wed nesday all classes of stock were well rep resented, and, with the exception of one line each of shaep and cattle, upon which vendors placed too high & reserve, every thing sold at good market rates. Fat ewes made 8s Cd ; store wethers, small 5b 6d to 6s 3d ; stores in wool, 9s Id. 2. I .yr steers, 60s lo 755; 18-uaonths, 60s to 55s ; yearlidgs, 455 ; calves 22s to 37a 9d , dairy stock, aged cows, 50s ; heifers, 75s to 80s. Messrs Gorton and Son report on their stock sale at Feildiug yesterday as follows : — Wo hae a full muster of both sheep and cattle. Sheep being very dull of sale, we only quitted three or four pens. Our quotations aro : Cattle — Fat heifers, 5s lOd ; cows aud calves, £3 10s ; yearlings, 39s to 455 ; calves, 18s to 16s ; 18-month steers, £1 10 a; 2-year heifers, ; JC4 15s. Sheep Hoggets, 5s Id to 7s yd ; fat e\ves,J6s Id. Draughts, on account of Hockeu Bros., 14s lOd sml 25s lOtl.
