RULES AND REGULATIONS. Nominations for Champion Race and all Handicaps,including Jumping events, must bo sent to tbo Secretary on or bofore TUESDAY, 11th DECEMBER, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to fonvai'd Postal Notes and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Event, and full entry money for Cham, pion Race, to be paid on Nomination, accompanied by a statement of Public Performances for tho last two years (matches included) with dates and Localities of such Performances ; the remainder of Entrance fee on Acceptance, which can be made on tho ground. Other events post entries. Colon* must be named on Nomination. Tho Committee reserve tho right to tan any race under 300 yards in heats. The Bicycle Races will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Cyclists' Union. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Rule 25, which reads : —"Every Competitor must wear coinSlete clothing from the shoulders to tie knees ; that is, jersey (sleeved to slbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this Rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports." The Wrestling Event •will be conducted under tho recognised Rules. Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false Performances, running nnder an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event, to mako a declaration as to his identity and the correctness of his description of his Performances. The Committee may disqualify any Competitor before or after any Event who shall refuse to make the required Declaration, and he shall Hot be entitled to claim any prize. Entries will bo received and Sports conducted under the Printed Rules of the Feilding Athletic Sports, obtainable from the Secretary, price Is. Admission to Gates : Adults, Is ; Children, between 8 and 12 years, half price ; nnder 8 years, free. Full Band in attendance and a spacious dancing platform provided on the Lawn.
