A Warning from the Commissioner of Taxes.
(Per Press Association,) Wellington, Thi.s Day In reply to an application for tho assessment of values under the Land and Income Assessment Act of last session tho Commissioner of Taxes states that by the 31st of January a complete copy of valuation be scut to each taxpayer of his or her assessment. Under the same cover will be forwarded for the New Return with full instructions as to tho re quiremeuts under the Act. At present objections to the assessment must be logged by the Ist March, ami if necessary tho board will meet iv April to considor objections. .
