Laery and Co. report for the past week as follows :— Wheat— Without alteration. A few transactions have taken plaoe in prime milling samples at prices about on a par with those last reported. We quote prime milling, 2s 7d to 2s 8d ; medium to good, 2s s^d to 2s 6sd ; f o.b. Southern ports ; whole fowl wheat, 2s 7d to 2s 8d ex Btores. Oats — Indications are not wanting that the bottom has been touched and values show a tendency to harden We quote— Bright short feed 2s ; good, Is lOd to Is lid ; medium, Is 8d to Is 9d ; Tartarian, seed, islOd, Danish Is Bd. Barley— Without alteration; Our quo tations are nominal, Best m<ing, 4s 3d to 4s 4d ; medium to good, 3s 6d to 3s 9d ; feed, Is lOd ; Cape 2s 20d. Maize— ln large supply at 2s 3d to 2s 5d per bushel. Pollard 72s 6d per ton Chaff— Prime bright heavj, 72s 6d to 76s ; good 65s per ton. Potatoes— The season being so advanced, old Derwents are in poor demand at low rates.
