Death of Stevenson, the Novelist.
(Per Press Association). Auckland, This Day. The Upolu, from Samoa, brings news of the death of Robert Louis Stevenson, the celebrated novelist. He was hard at work till four o'clock in the afternoon Two hours later he complained to his wife of strange pains in his neck and almost immediately be became uncon scions The members of the family were called in and medical aid was obtained. When the Dr. arrived be saw there was no hope and Mr Stevenson expired at 8.10. The cause of death w«h apoplexy.
