Thompson, Premier of Canada, in being conveyed from Windsor Castle to the railway station were accorded a serai State funeral. The Queen sent a splendid laurel wreath, to which waa attached an autograph card expressing her sorrow at the death of the esteemed statesman- The body will be takes to Canada on board ft British warship.
