The Late Premier of Canada.
(Per Press Association.) Ottawa, December 14. A national subscription is being raised for the family of the late J. S. D. Thompson. London, December 14. The remains of the late J. S« D. Thompson, Premier of Canada, in being conveyed from Windsor Castle to the railway station were accorded a serai State funeral. The Queen sent a splendid laurel wreath, to which waa attached an autograph card expressing her sorrow at the death of the esteemed statesman- The body will be takes to Canada on board ft British warship.
