Stock Market.
Mr Charles Carr reports : I held stock sales at tny Birmingham and Feilding saleyards on the 11th aud 14th instants respectively. At Birmingham an averago number of stock was yarded. The attendance was good, and stock sold at recent values. At Feilding a large number of both sheep and cattle came forward, more than usual for the time of year. There was a very large attendanco, and cattle sold freely at recent prices. Sheep dragged, although there were buyers in the market for good sorts of wethers. Quotations : — Birmingham — Fat cows, small, £<i 10s to £4 15s; 2 to 2£.year steers, £3 10s; spriuging heifers, M 15s. Sheep—2tooth sheep, mixed, 5s lid to 6s 6d ; 2tooth wethers, 6s; 2-tooth ewes, 6s; forward wethors, 7s 7d to Bs. Feilding - 2£ to B-ycar bullocks, Jt'4 to £4 2s 6d ; cowb, forward, jE3 12s 6d ; springing heifers, £3 16s to £6 ; U-year heifers in calf, £3 7s 6d ; milch cows, £i to £5 10s ; 18-month to 2-year steers, X' 3 10s; weaners, 18s to £2. Sheepewes aud lambs, no domand, 5s to 8s ; 2-rooth wethers,- 6s 6d to 6s 9d ; 2-tooth ewes, 6s to 6s lid ; mixed 2-tooths, 6s to 6s yd. __ ______
