♦ Messrs Abraham aud Williams report :— At Palmorstou, yesterday, a full yard of cattle came forward, almost all being useful 2£-yoar-old steers. A pen of growu store bullocks was also penned, and a line of choice breeding cows and heifers. The doniand was moderate, about half beiug disposed of under the hammer, tho balance afterwards. Beyoud the fat bullocks and a few dairy cattle, a clearance was effected. Sheep, iv short supply, remain without alteratiou iv price. Sheep—lnferior ewes aud lambs, 2s 8d to 2s lOd (all counted); 2-tooth wethers, fat, 8s ; fat owes, Ca 6d to 6s. Cattlo — Choice breeding cows, £i i forward bullocks, £5 ; 2£-year-steers, £i ss; 2-year do., £8 15s; 8-year do., £4 14s; small weaners, 28s; others, 80s to 84s 6d ; yearlings, mixed, £2 9s tid ; fat cows, £i 15s.
