(Before District Judge Kettle). APPLICATIONS FOR DISCHARGE. In re John D. Valentine. — Motion for discharge. Mr G. F. Hawkins, instructed by Mr Reade, appeared for tho applicant. The D.O.A. said only oue book had been kept, and it did not show tho transactions of tho debtor. His Honor was very severe with tho debtor. Ho said tho Bankruptcy Court should mark its disapproval of the actions of a contractor who had been in tho habit of taking contracts at prices b9low a paying figure. It was absolutely necessary that such practices should bo stopped. The discharge would be suspended for two years. He intended to deal in a similar way with all such cases that came before him. In ro Fred Keon.— Motion for discharge. After hearing the debtor's explanation, His Honor suspended the discharge for six months, and said tho only fault seemed to be starting business without capital. If tho books had not beeu properly kept it would have been suspended for soiuo time longer. MOTION FOR RELEASE. The D.O.A. was granted orders for release iv tho following cases : — W. H.
