Feilding Fire Brigade.
♦ — The Fire Brigade Committee appointed to collect funds to liquidate the debt on the engine met at Mr E. Goodbehere's office last evening. Present — Messrs W. Carthew (in the chair), W. S. Tank, H. Worsfold, A. Eade, H. Hastings, A. R. ' Allan, P. Thomson, O. Cooper, and E. ( Goodbehero (Secretary.) The principal business was to consider a letter received from Messrs Aitken and Wilson with respect to the fire engine. Resolved, on the motion of Mr Basting, seconded by Mr Thomson, That their after be accepted, and that a bank draft [or £85, in full settlement of their claim 5u the engine, be sent at once. \ Resolved, That all documents and t nouey in connection with this Commit- t see be handed over to the Fire Bri- 0 gade. t On the motion of Mr Carthew, sec- <] mded by Mr Eade, a vote of thauks was o iccordod to Mr E. Goodbehcre for the v roublo he had taken as Secrotary.
