PRESS COMMENTS ON THE RECENT CALL. (Per Press Association). Sydney, This Day. The Sydney Morning Herald says the proposed call on the Bank of New Zealand shareholders caused comparatively little comment in the city. The Daily Telegraph thinks the call will impose some hardships, though it will relieve the bank's earnings somewhat materially.
