Fohangina Public Hall.

At the mooting of the Waugauui Harbour Board yesterday a letter was received from Mr A. E. Welsh, of Pobaugina, enclosing the following resolution, passed by a public meeting called to consider the matter of a public hall at that place : — " That this meeting of settlers in and around Fohangina heartily thank the Waugauui Harbour Board for their kindness in granting a site for a hall in ! the Pohangiua township, and for trouble [ taken by them in the matter." The letter stated that Messrs T. Sinclair, J. G. j Browno and G. Adsett had been ap- ( pointed Trustees. A request was also j made to the Board for a subscription to- { wards the building fund.
