Wedding in Apiti.

o We had a regular old fashioned wedding in Apiti on Wednesday, Air Charles Scott Potts and Miss Sarah Rankin were the contracting parties, and the Rev. Mr Richards performed the ceremony and it was quite a pretty sight to see tne wedding party walking irom the residence of the bride's parents to the church, in all tlieir gay colors. The bride, attended by her two sisters as bridesmaids, was dressed in wbite with a blue sash and Nun's veiling with wreath of orange blossoms. Mr Miller attended as best man. Mr George Buckman presided at the organ aud played tbe Wedding March in good style as the happy couplo left the church and met the usual greeting of rice and old shoes. The wedding breakfast was laid out in grand -style in Mr Guy's Hall, which was tastefully decor, ated for the occasion and. over 50 guests sat down and did ample justice to Mr Anyon's cateriug which was in his usual first class style. In the evening Mr Guy's Hall was again crowded at Air and Mrs Potts invitation to spend a social evening and judging from tbe happy countenances of the guests all must have thoroughly enjoyed the games, singing and dancing. Light refreshments were provided at intervals and with daylight the happy company dispersed* The wedding presents were numerous and useful showing the bigh esteem in which Mr and Mrs Potts are held by their settler friends.
