Chaff—Transactions during the week have been on a moderate scale at unaltered values. We quote— Prime bright heavy, 72s 6d to 75s ; good 75s per ton. Medium and inferior descriptions are slow of Bale. New Potatoes— Supplies during the week have been considerably in excess of requirements and prices have undergone a material decline We quote— Kidneys, 6s to 7s ; round Ss 9d to 5s per cwt, Onionß— Local stocks are still heavy, and values have a downward tendency. We quote— Prime Frisco, l^d to l^d; mediam qualities Id per lb. Cocksfoot -In the absence of transactions we repeat our last quotations. Best machine dressed, 4s d to 6d ; bright undressed 4d to 4_d ; discoloured, 3Jd to 4d per lb. Eggs — Consignments during the week have been on a more moderate scale and prices have undergone a slight improvement. Highest current price to-day is lOd per dozen. Butter— Supplies are in excess of requirements and sales difficult to affect. We quote Prime separator in roll. lOd ; ordinary 9d ; dairy 6d to 6d ; prime salt 7d ; pastry 4d per lb. Fungus in strong demand at 3d per lb. Cheese — Moderate demand, We quote Prime factory, 4Jd per lb ; loaf-sizedi 5d per lb. Poultry— Fair demand. Fowls 3s 6d ; ducks, ss ; turkeys, 7s to 8s ; geese 5s to 5s 6d per pair.
