(PRE PBKBX ASSOCIATION). London, December 2. Tallow is unchanged The English wheat market displays a strong tone, but prices are unchanged. The Continental is steady and the American changing a little for the better. The cargoes of Victorian wheat ex Broomhill and Soudan sold at 25s ljd ex Furst Bismarck 255. The quantity of wool catalogued to date is 97,800 bales of which 81,800 have been sold. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company (Limited) has received the following London cable message : — Frozen meats— The mutton market is better. Canterbury mutton, 'd\d per 1b ; Wellington mutton ad per lb. Wool— Competition is increasing, and the market is firmer Bntter — Market drooping. New Zealand, fine quality 108s per cwt.
