Wellington Land Board.

The regular monthly meeting of the abovo was held yesterday. Present — The Commissioner of Crown Lands (in the chair), and Messrs W. A. Fitaherbert and Fred Pirani, M.H.R. Title approved if conditions complied with:— J. E. Grice, section 808, Block 111, Oroua. The following transfers were approved :— P. S. McDonald to G. Heron, section 24, Block XV, Mangaone ; A. and , W. Bosher to W. H. Bruister and R. Wooton, sections 75 and 66, Block 11, Apiti ; H. Hollam to J. P. Curreen, section 9, Block 11, Pohangina ; J. R. Tomperley to J. R. Hammond, section 10, Block XV, Hautapu. Application to capitalise approved : — T. Stent, section 28, Block I, Apiti. Application to mortgage approved : — Section 17, Block VIII, Apiti. Mr J. Miller waited ou the Board in reference to the amount of improvements requisite to get a title for section 13, Block VII, Apiti, and it was decided to pass the title on single improvements. The following application for land was approved :-F. W. Noffke, Block VIII, Apiti, 170 acres. An application was received from |;he Pohaiigiha County Cquupil to have the ferry reserve on the Oraua river at Apiti, vested in the Council, as a bridge reserve. — It was decided to recommend the Governmout to comply with the request.
