RULES AND REGULATIONS. Nominations for Champion Race and ail Handicaps.including Jumping events, must be sent to the Secretary on or before TUESDAY, llth DECEMBER, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to forward Postal Notes and not stamps. Two shillings on oach Handicap Event, and full entry money for Champion Race, to be paid ou Nomination, accoiupauiud by a statement of Public Performances for the last two years (matches included) with dates and Localities of such Performances ; the remainder of Entrance fee on Acceptance, which cau be made on tho grouud. Otlier cveuu post eutries. Colors must be named on Nomination. The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 800 yards in heats. The Bicycle Races will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Cyclists' Union. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Rule 25, which reads : — "Every Competitor must wear complete clothing from tho shoulders to the knees ; that is, jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this Rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports." The Wrestling Event will be conducted under the recognised Rules. Auy Competitor found guilty of seuding in false Performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to his identity and the correctness of his description of his Pui formances. The Committee may disqualify any Competitor beforo or after any Event who shall refuse to make the required Declaration, and he shall not be entitled to claim any prize. Entries will be received and Sports conducted under the Printed Rules of the Feildiug Athletic Sports, obtainable from the Secretary, price ls. Admission to Gates : Adults, ls ; Children, between 8 and 12 years, half price ; under 8 years, free. Full Band in attendance and a spacious dancing platform provided on the Lawn.
