Poiuts to count as follows :— Running events, 5, 3, and 2— except No. 5 (Champion Race) when points will count 8, 5, and 3 ; jumping, 8, 2, and 1 ; events Nos. 6, 12, 15, 20, and 22 excluded. RULES AND REGULATIONS. Nominations for Champion Race and all Handicaps, including Jumping evcuts, must be sent to the Secretary on or before TUESDAY, 11th DECEMBER, not later tban 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to forward Postal Notes and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Event, and full entry money for Champion Race, to be paid on Nomination, accompanied by a statement of Public Performances for the last two years (matches included) with dates and Localities of such Performances ; the remainder of Entrance fee on Acceptance, which cau be made on tho ground. Other events post entries. Colors must be named on Nomination. The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 300 yards in heats. The Bicycle Races will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Cyclists' Union. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Rule 25, which reads : —'•Every Competitor must wear complete clothing from the shoulders to th.i Imees ; that is, jersey (sleeved to •loow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this Rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in tbe Sports." The Wrestling Event will be conducted under tbe recognised Rules. Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false Performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right >o require any competitor, cither before or after any event, to make a declaration as to bis identity and the correctness of his description of his Performances. Tbe Committee may disqualify any Competitor before or after any Event who shall refuse to make tbe required Declaration, and he shall not be entitled to claim any prize. Entries will be received and Sports conducted under the Printed Rules of the Feilding Athletic Sports, obtainable from tbe Secretary, price Is. Admission to Gates : Adults, Is ; Children, between 8 and 12 years, half price ; under 8 years, free. Full Band in attendance and a spacious dancing platform provided on the Lawn.
