Feilding Cycling Club.

A well-attended meeting of the above club was held in Mr Mackenzie's rooms last evening. Mr E. H. Rioketts pre* siding. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was received from tho secretary of the Rangitikei Club invit* iug the Feilding Club to a meet to be held at Marton on November 28th. Also from the Cyclists' Union re affili. ation. Resolved, That Messrs W. Mabley, J. Crawshaw and F, Taylor be delegates, to the Union. Resolved, That tl^e Secretary be h.3 structed to write to the Secretary of the Feilding sports, asking him if he would have the racing track rolled at once. flesolyed, That tho road race on jpccember 12th he from Manchester Square to Mangaone bridge, near Ley's line, on the Awahuri road, nnd hack to Manohes. Square, Mr G. W. Fowles was appointed starter and timekeeper for tbe road race, which will start at 6 o'clook on December 12th. The Seoretary informed the meeting that the Sports Committee had put two bicycle events on the programme for Boxing Day. A one mile race (prize £4) and a three mile race (prize JJ6). Ho also stated that twelve entries had beeu guaranteed tho sports committee. After arranging several minor matters the meeting adjourned. Several riders intend commencing training at once for the Feilding sports. It is expected two or three local riders will attend- the meet at Martou on th_ 28th instant.
