THE GENERAL will arrive in Feilding on SATURDAY, the 24tb instant, and, having expressed a desire to meet as many of the settlers as possible during hw short stay, it has been decided to have a BANQUET on MONDAY, 26th inst. As it is desired that this should be a popular function, the tickets have been fixed at the moderate cost ot 10s Cd, and can be obtained at the Feildino Star and Colonists' Land and Loan Corporation Offices, and at Mr W. Carthew's. It is also proposed to present a short address to General Feilding on the same day in the Assembly Rooms, at \ o'clock, and all who are interested in tbe matter are invited to attend.
