An Italian fisherman, living at Para matta named Maestri is believed to have been drowned when following his occupation yesterday or last night, The boat and two dogs he had with him were found on the rocks. There is no sign of the body. The police are searching Porirua harbour. This Day. Batista Maeßtri, a ahepherd on Mana Island, left in a boat with two dogs for (he main land on Friday. The boat was found smashed up and the dogs swam back to Mana Island, but though search has been made, no sign of Maeßtri has been found He is supposed to be drowned. He was in the employ of Vella who escaped from the wreck of the Wairarap*, and the latter had just taken Home L3O to Maestri'! wife and family, who lire in the Tyrol
