The Polo Club.
A polo practice was held iu one of Mr F. Y. Lothbridgo's paddocks qn Satur. day afternoon, whdn eighteen players attended with twqnty-tive ponies. The play showed great improvement. In the evening a general committee meeting was held at the Feilding Hotel. There was a large attendance of members, and Mr 0. Carr presided. The following officers were electee] :•— "Presi. dont, Mr F. *y. Lpthbrid^ge ; Vice-presi-dents, Messrs P. P. Buchanan, D, Downes, C. A. J. Levett ; Captain, Mr N. Gortoq. Messrs p. Mildred and R. D. Tpsswill were elected niombers, and M** E. M. {jewjs,- uiuno was addled, to tbho cqmmitteo. |t was depicted that thp cojqrs of the chit* bo a whjte sljirt with dark blue sash aqd cap.
