The Rev Mr Russell presided, and opened the proceedings with prayer Mr J. Costall, Hon. Sec, read the minutes of tbe previous meeting which were confirmed The several collection lists were handed in and showed a total of £167 10a as donated The result was very favorably commented on by the chairman, who said he had been to Wellington and obtained from tbe Anglican architect a plan of a church building which he thought wquld be very su,itahle for Cauipbelltown. It was capable of seating 186 persons, and would cost about £250. A second plan was handed in which, it was stated, the walls could be of brick and finished with wood for £240. After some discussion it was proposed by Mr Lazenby, seconded by Mr Bishop, That a building committee be appointed, consisting of the Rev Mr Russell, Messrs Costal], Merrett, and Davis, to arrange for fhe plan on, which td bmTdthe church Speaking on tho subject of the transfer of the section for a site, the chairman said that Mr SheririlJ, of Feeding, had offered to complete the neoessary dooumepts free of charge. Mr W\ Davis proposed, and Mr G. Merrett seoouded, That a vote of thanks be passed to Mr Sherwill, whiph was carried unanimously. Votes of thanks were also passed to the ladies who had done so much good work in making the collections, The meeting then closed with prayer.
