FEILDING CRICKET CLUB.

A committee meeting of the above club was held last evening in Messrs Halcombe and Son's office. The following members were present — Messrs Reado (in the chair), Carty, Johnston, W. Halcombe, F. W. Treseder, and C. Halcombe (secretary). Proposed by Mr W. Halcombe, seconded by Mr Carty, That Mr Treseder bo appointed secretary in place of Mr C. Halcombe (resigned). — Carried. Mr Treseder was also appointed to act as one of the match qoinmittee. Proposed by Mr Johnston, seconded by Mr Carty, That a minute be recorded giving a hearty vote of thanks to Mr C. Halcqiube, who has rpsigned his position as secretary to the club as ho is about to settle in Wellington. Also, au expression of regret at his departure from Feilding, and wishing him success in his future career. — Carried. ! Mr Halcombe will leave Feilding towards the end of tho present month] . A lotter was received from the secretary of the Wanganui Cricket Club, Mr W. H. McLcau, as follows :— " lam directed by my committee to thank tho members of the Feilding Cricket Club for tho splendid way our eleven was treated Tfhen in Fejlding. I hqpo yqu will giye 143 the chance, Ijefqre tho'seaaqu closes, of repaying your kindness in I some slight degree." It was decided to get up a concert within tho next two months, and a committee was appointed to make arrangei nients. I Several accounts wero passed for payincut aud the meeting adjourned.
