A Shocking Murder.
Qi i . PRISONER SENTENCED TO DEATH. [fbb fbeßs association.. i London, Nov 15Jas. Couhain Bead, has been sentenced to death in connection with the astounding murder, at South End in June. Wellington, This Day The murder referred to in to-day's cable took place on June 24th, near Pnttlowell, South End. The victim was Miss Floronco Deniis, aged ltf, daughter of a harness maker, and the condemned man is aged thirty five, married, with eight children, and employed at one of the London docks. He was courting the decoasod, asserting ho was single, and was seen in her company the night of the murder.' The body was found the following day, with a gunshot wound i^ ]iqx left ear, lying iv a brook," the murder having apparently taken place in a wheat fiold, and the body dragged to the spot whore it waa found.
