A golden funeral car bore the body of the late monarch, aud every sectiou of society wore represented iv the funeral cortege. Tho scene was unparalleled in the history of the ancient capital. A special train will be required to convey tho funeral wreaths to St. Petersburg. Several are of solid silver and cost £1500 a piece.
