INTOLERANCE.
TO THK EDITOR OF TIIK STAR. Siu, —ln a recent issue of your escoined journal I noticed an article headed " Intolerance," in which you very properly condemned the Moa Creek School Committee on account of thpij? miserable narrow-mindedness in persecuting a certain young lady because of her religious belief. Unfortunately, sir, jt seen}s to bo quifp a common thing for these petty schopl committees to sbpw their bigotry in a similar manner, notwithstanding tho fact that each and all are compelled to contribute an equal share towards tho maintenance of our education Hystem, I am sending you two letters which appeared in tho Southeru Standard in connection with the Waiinumu School Committee. I think these letters will explain for themselves. By inserting them in your papor you will oblige Justice. i Tho purport of tho letters has already beeu published.—Ei>. F.S.]
