YOUNG CONQUEROR is a beautiful black horse, with splendid bone, temper, and symmetrical proportions, and is, no donbt, one of the Best Draught Stallions bred in tbe colony. Young Conqueror was bred in tho Patea district, and bis first season's foals - now three years old -are splendid specimens of draught 6tock. Ho was foaled in 1885, Rot by Old Conqueror, dam Olive. Olive, by Surprise out of Wellington mare, whose dam was imported from Tasmania. Olive has taken four first prizes at Hawera A. & P Shows, aud has never been beaten in tbe show ring. Young Conqueror has taken first prize as a twoyear old at Hawera A. & P. Show, and has not been in tho 6how ring since.
