]Per Press Association] Melbourne, November 1. Nothing sensational was done at Fleniington this morning, Port Admiral registered another sterling gallop of two miles in Sinin 43sec, finishing well. Aeolus, pulliHg up, beat Loyalty and Philson by a length in a mile and a quarter spin, wound up in2min 16] sec. Forward took a second longer over a similar task, and Lady Trenton lmin 47isec. Bruin commenced ot an even tune gait, but traversed a mile and a half in 2min 46sec, finishing tremendously fast. Tarcoola and Ruenalf beat Patron in a mile and a half gallop. Tho iormer finished best and was pulling off: Last night 6000 to 280 was taken about Tim Swiveller for the Cup, and 4000 to 175 Bruin. The Maribyrnong acceptors are : —Wallace, Challenger, Don John, Gale, Sir George, The Parisienne, Centura, Auraria, (iehauia, Mis 9 Nora, Ariki, Acton, Blue Cap and Rob Ray. Cobbity has been scratched for all engagements. Sydney, November 1. The acceptors for the V.R.C. Derby are :— Question, Dreamland, The Harvester, Marusa. Bonnie Scotland, Forward, Malachite, Dryden, Destiny, Atlas and Charlie Grover.
