Amongst the passengers of the illfated Wairarapa who wero in the wreck was Miss Flavall, daughter of Mr F. Flavall, a -well-knowu and respected residont of Feilding. Miss Flavall was an officer in the Salvation Army, and was returning from a visit to England. Much sympathy is felt for Mr and Mrs Flavall in their bereavement. Amongst the names of those lost there is also that of Mrs Stewart, of Tasmania, avlio was on her way to Feildiug as a visitor to Mrs W.A. Saudilauds. I The names of Dr. Harris, (formerly of Marton, and brother to Mr J. Harris) and his son are in the list of those saved from the wreck of the ill-fated Wairarapa.
