Wellington Woollen Company.
(PER PBESS ASSOCIAIONf. Wkllington October 21. The annual report of the Wellington Woollen Company states that the period under review has been one of extreme depression, coupled with excessively keen competition for the consequently curtailed volume of trade. The directors do not propose to write off the usual sum off the Company's properties and plant. The results obtained at the close of the half .year ending 81st March did not warrant the payment of the usual half-yearly dividend, and the year's operations, the directors regret, do not justify any present recommendation in that direction. The revenue for the year (including L 1892 brought forward) was L7IBB and the expenditure L 5368. Included among the assets is stock (raw material, goods manufactured and in process of manufacture), L 41.378.
