More Spiritualistic FraudsEXTRAORDINARY REVELATIONS.

[FSB PBEBB ASSOCIATION.] Sydney, This Day. For some time past a sensation has been caused by the spiritualistic seances conduoted under the mediumship of Mrs Melton, and the position occupied by those investigations seemed to place the matter beyond any intention to decieve. Two gentlemen have made statu* tory declarations that at a materialisation seance at Melton's house they captured the materialised form of a little girl which was Mrs Melton on her knees. They also fouud articles within a recess which were recognised as forming part of the attire of other materialised spirits. The discovery is creating a sensation. On the other hand Dr McCarty, under whose eye previous seances were conducted, was not present at the discovery, but despite it he believes the manifestations he obtained were the result of fraud. If th,ey were then, he says, Mrs Melton is the greatest conjurer he ever saw. Mrs Melton gives an extraordinary explanation of how she was found to be in the place of the disembodied spirit, and says tho latter drew its matter from the medium and gave as an in. instance that her weight diminished by half on such occasions which, she declared, bad been proved by experiment.
