Meares to Wellington to interview Government and member* of Parliament in respect to the amendment of tho law affecting owners of traction engines. Woodvillb. This Day. At a public meetiug last night a vote of thanks was passed to Mr Hall, M.H.R., for his attention to the wants of the district, and that he be requested to see that the necessary provision was made for the opening of the Woodville, Aohanga and Makiero-Woodvillo roads.
