A meeting of theManawatußangitikei Cricket Union was held at Mrs Oliver's Empire Hotel last evening. PresentMessrs Matheson (Palmerston), Cartv (Feildiug), Burne (Birmingham), Entwisle (Colyton), Bowater and Kew (Carnarvon) and Tompkius (secretary) Mr Matheson was voted to the chair. The miuutes of the last meeting wore read and confirmed, A letter was received from Mr Straohan stating that up to the It was decided that Mr Tompkins draw the same up, failing Mr Straehan being able to do so in time for next meeting. It was decided to request Palmerston to enter two teams for the Senior Cup. The next meeting of the Union is to be held on the 2nd November next. With the usual vote of thanks to the chair the meeting closed.
