THE PLAN OF SEATS AT THE ASSEMBLY ROOMS.
TO THE EDITOR OP THE STAB. Sib, —l wish to draw the attention of whoever was to blame for the alteration of the plan of seats at Mr Bentley's perforinauce last night. The plan as shown at Mr Carthew's was altered altogether. Hardly anyone got the seats they chose, and the audience was packed like a mob of sheep in the centre of the Assembly Rooms, and had a fire or any other accident occurred it would have been very difficult for those present to escape. The same thing was done once before, and was not appreciated. It was impossible to get in or out conveniently, and I think it is a mistake to allow the public to choose seats in one place, and then have to go into another. There are many who make the same complaint as I do, and I hope whoever has the arrrangement of future performances will adhere to plan as lodged at Mr Carthew's. t I am, etc., Edwd. Giesen.
