Wellington, October 10. The Wellington Trotting Club held a successful meeting to-day. Following are the results :— Maiden Handicap — Blnestone 1, Khandallah 2. Dividend, i-l ss. The riders of Carnage and Khandallah were suspended for the meeting. Pony Harness Trot— Grey Tom 1, Bobby Burns 2 Dividend, L 4 4s. Trotting Club Handicap Cable 1, Kelpie 2, Vancliffe 3. Dividend £15 16s. Selling Trot— Coal Queen 1, Billj 2. Dividend, £2 6s. Miramar Handicap Trot— Kelpie 1, Vancliffe 2, J.H, 3. Dividend, £3. Pony Saddle Trot -Lady Emma 1, Bill? Buttons 2. Dividend, L 5 10s. Electric Handicap— lnvictus 1. Dividend, L 5 10s. (Per Press Association) Melbourne, October 10. Yesterday Brilliant, 7st 121 b, won the Mordiallock Handicap, 11 furlongs, by a neck from Theodore (Bst 121 b), The Dau phine (7st 81b), and ten others, in 2min. 27seo. Norton has 13at for the first steeplechase on Saturday. Herbert Crips, the rider of Tarcoola in the last Melbourne Cup, fractnred his collarbone at Mordiallock yesterday.
