George Thomas and Uo report whole i sale produce prices as follows* — Businees shown an improvement on the past week, but there are very slight changes in yulue to note. A good demand exists for good whole fowl wheat, and prices show a firmer tendency. We quote whole fowl wheat at 2a 7£d to 2s 9£d Prime short 1 oat ß, ls lOd to Is lld ,* good feed, IsSdto - ls lOd ; Danish, ls 8d ; Dun and Biack i Tartars, ls lOd to 2s. Leading brands > of roller flour. £7 10s to £7 16s ; pollard, ) 75s to 80s ; bran, 52s 6d ; oatmeal, £9 to £10; oaten sheaf chaff, 70s to 7ss; maizt , 2s 6d ; feed barlej. 2s 3d ; Pearl barley, [ 17s. Prussian Blue peas, 3s 3d ; Partridge and Dub ditto, 3s. Beans 3s 2d . per bushel. Good samples of local onions , are almost unprocurable, and are worth . 13s to 14s, while Caiiforman in cases meet with a ready sale at 2d per lb. Prime Derwent table potatoes, 37s fid to 40s ; seed ' descriptions, including Early Rose, Magnum Bonum, Breezes' Prohfics, Bruce's Kidneys, Snowflakes, Early Goodrich, &c , from £3 to LA per ton. Prime full cream factory cheese, 4£d te 5d : hams and bacon, gd ; baoon alone, 6sd ; bams Bd. Butter is coming iv very plentifully and still of lower value; prime cream separator, lOd per lb ; best dairy, from 8d to 9d. Large shipments of egga are to hand and values are weaker, 7d to 7£d being tbe highest figure attainable. Poultry continue in demand although ■ tbere are no alterations on last week's priceß— fowls, 3s to 3s 6d ; ducks, 4s 6d ; geese, fis ; turkeys 9.s to 10s.
