The Canterbury Cricket Association ha9 decided to cnple to Major Wardell the well known agent for Stoddart's English team asking whether L250 each for mats ches agninat Wellington. Canterbury and Otago, and the whole of the net proceeds of the match against New Zealand would be accepted.
