TWO LIVES LOST. [PBB PRESS ASSOCIATION. I Newcastle, Sept. 30. The barque Poltalloch, 2139 tons, Captain Counell, which left a day or two ago for San Francisco with a cargo of coal, encountered a terrific hurricane when about 100 miles out. Two seamen were drowned, and the captain was so seriously injured that it was decided to return to port.
