Wellington Stock and Produce Markets.

A. G. Tame and Co report on the market for the week ending Sept. 28 as follows : — Fat sheep -We quote prime wethers 15a to 16s, and good 13s to 14s ; fat ewes to 14s 6d. Store we there— Good demand but few offering. Good fresh stores are saleable at from 11s to 12?. Store ewes in lamb 10s to lls ; fm up to 9s ; hoggets, good enquiry, best worth to 10s. Fat cattle— Beef 22s per lOOlbs, southern markets up to 265. Store cattle- Very good demand, weavers 26s to 28a ; yearlings 40s : 2 year olds ±'8 ; 3 aud 4-year bullocks £4 103 to £i 15s, more if vary fresh. Dairy cows— All good sorts command full prices, young cows close to calving up to iB 10s. Horses — There was a Rood attendance of buyers at our horse sale on Saturday. We sold a pony and trap lor £18, and quote good draughts LlB to L 22, ex press horses, young, sound, and well broken in Ll2 to LI S, hacks and light hnr ness horses L 8 to Ll2, inferior sorts unsaleable. A few good draught horses would sell well, but they must be good. Harness, covers, saddles all sold at fair prices. Sheepskins are in good demand, all coming forward selling freely, best at 5s to 5s 6d, medium 4s to 4s 3d, others 2s 6d to 3s, dry skins 4d to 4£d. Tallow is fetching 18s to 20s for best, medium 15s to 16s. Grain — Fowl wheat up to 2s Qd. Oats, best feed, Is 9d to Is lOd.
