Wreck of the Dorunda.

THE CARGO OF WOOL DAMAGED (Per Press Association. Lisbon, Sept 27. The steamer Dorunda ran bows on to tho rocks at Berlengas, near Piniche. The vessel sustained serious injury, and the forehold was soon full of water. She was, however, floated off the rocks and beached in a favourable spot, where the cargo is being unloaded. It is expected the ship will be saved. The Dorunda's passengers were landed in a French boat barefooted and only partially dressed, and received succour in a village inn. It is now feared that the vessel will become a total wreck, as the fore part is submerged to the engine room. The passengers' baggage and bullion of the value of £223,000 were landed safely. London, Sept 28. The Dorunda's wool is damaged. It is feared the vessel cannot be saved.
