Campbelltown Notes.

(from our own correspondent.) The members of the Excelsior Lodp© held a well attended meeting at Campbelltown last Thursday evening. About 50 were present, and two now members were initiated. The members then entered into a hearty discussion on " The evils of smoking," which were discussed with great interest. Next Thursday an open Loege meeting will be held at which visitors will be cordially welcomed. During the past fortnight the grass in this very productive district has made wondorful progress. Paddocks that a few weeks ago were bare are now quite green. The Church of England members have wonderfully increased during the past year, are entering heartily into the proposal to erect a new church. Mr H. Hammond intends to start shearing on Wednesday next, when nine men will be placed on the board to rob about 10,000 sheen of their wool.
