Messrs F. B. Jackson and Co. report j on their Johnsonville sale yesterday as j follows :— Our market was rather short \ supplied with cattle, only 80 head be- . ing present. The beef was of good qual- i ity and brought fully 22s per 1001 b. The j highest pen made £9 15s, purchased as ] usual by Mr Kigalsford, of Molesworth j street. Over 500 sheep made up the £ sale. We quote : — Cattle — Best bullocks, j jfß to .£9 15s ; others, £7 17s 6d to £8 ; j cows, £6 2s 6d to A' 6 17s 6d. Sheep.— t Wethers, 14s 8d to 16s; ewes, lUs to 14s t Bd. tigs— Porkera, 17s to 245. j
