RANGITIKEI SPRING MEETING. Tho attendance at the Rangitikei Spring Meeting yesterday was very good. Several showers fell during the day, and the course was very heavy. Cyrus went away with a strong lead from the start, and was never beaded Westtnere came very fast at the finish, being beaten on the post by a nose ; King John a good third. Time, 2min 21 1 5 sees. Dividend, £3 12s. Hack Eace-The Artist 1, Sylvia Park 2, Bloomsbury 3. Also ran— Bonovoree, Puella, Fortune, Tenby, Kopere, Finesse. Won comfortably by a length. lmin 51secs. Dividend, £3. Final Handicap— Musket 1, King John 2, Cordelia 3. Also ran — Kal mea. Won easily. Time, lmin 49 sees. Dividend, £3 4s. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Dunbdin, September, 26. The Dunedin Jockey Club's programme shows a reduction of £380 for four meetings. The Cup distance is reduced to one mile six furlongs 132 yards.
