Attempt to Burn Down a Post Office.
o (Per Press Association). Gisborne, This Day. A most determined attempt was made shortly after midnight on Saturday to burn down tne Post and Telegraph Offices. Kerosene had been thrown ou the weather boarding, and at the back of the premises a quantity of wood and paper saturated with kerosene was found on fire. Fortunately the blaze was observed and the fire extinguished before any damage was done. There is no clue to the incendiary.
