Sir W. Buller Receives More Honors.

(Per Press Association) Wellotgtok, This Day. Sir Walter Buller has received from the King of Italy the insignia of Knight Commander of the Crown of Italy, and covering a letter from the Secretary of State, saying this high distinction, hitherto bestowed by His Majesty on few Englishmen, is conferred in token of his royal consideration towards an illustrious and meritorious scientist, and of his royal appreciation of the learned work of the birds of New Zealand.
