I have paid several visits to this hospital during the year, and did all I could in consultation with the trustees to help in its successful inauguration. It has had seventy-three patients under treatment since its opening, which shows that there exists a real demand for such an institution in the distriot. Its medical care has been entrusted to Drs Maclntire and Porter, who take admissions week about. Miss Dougherty, a well trained and capable nurse of great experience, has been appointed matron, with trained assistants. As a hospital, the institution is well administered ia every way.
